Less Renowned is a character in Inspector Gadget. He is Claw's old mentor and "teacher". he made his first appearance in "Gadget Meets the Clan".

He consistently wakes up and cleans up his appearance. He then goes to his education sector and teaches individuals how to be evil.
Personality[]
Less Renowned is very forgetful due to his age. Despite his senility, he has great knowledge in the criminal arts and knows of many famous crime bosses, such as The Great, Great Godfather, not to mention having connections with them. Because of his forgetfulness, Dr.Claw often has to remind him of his name. Less Renowned refers to Dr. Claw as his best pupil, since he had taught Dr. Claw the art of crime.

- Less sounds like a cross between Ronald Reagan and Johnny Carson.
- His name is a pun on "less renowned" due to very few people knowing of his existence and Dr. Claw being more famous.
