Professor Doomkauf is a character in Inspector Gadget. He is a M.A.D. agent.
In "Gadget Meets the Grappler," Doomkauf created a creature called the Grappler, whom he had commanded to destroy Gadget in exchange for his favorite treats, tidbits. However, since the Grappler was redeemed by Penny, this, in turn, ruined Doomkauf's plan and caused the Grappler to turn on his former master and father.
